LEVEL 1 ASP
ASP Level 1 works are classified as contestable construction/maintenance tasks undertaken on NSW electricity distribution networks.
GMA Power specialise in delivering Level 1 ASP works for the construction of electricity network assets. We are authorised to construct and commission underground cabling and overhead mains, apparatus and substations.
This also includes the construction of both new and existing low-voltage and high-voltage distribution network assets, augmenting the network to increase the existing networks capacity and the relocation of existing assets for customers.

We offer the following services:
> Underground network infrastructure construction and cable laying
> Polymeric and Paperlead cable jointing up to to 33kV
> Overhead powerline construction up to 132kV
> Street lighting works
> Timber pole installation and removal
> Network augmentation and asset relocation
> Pole and pad mount substation installation
> Overhead and underground subdivision reticulation
LEVEL 2 ASP
ASP Level 2 works are classified as contestable connection, disconnection works associated with overhead and underground service installations between the electricity distribution network and the point of connection of the property/premises and for energising new or altered connections.
We are authorised to undertake the Level 2 works between the electricity network and your property, these services include:
> Disconnection and Reconnection to the Network (Class 2A):
As a Level 2 ASP, we have the authorisation to disconnect and reconnect the service lines between the point of common coupling and the point of supply on the electricity network.
> Underground Service Conductors (Class 2B):
As a Level 2 ASP, if your property requires or has an underground service line connection to the electricity network, we can undertake all works including the civil trenching and final commissioning. This includes new or existing connection works from 100amps to 400amps.
> Overhead Service Conductors (Class 2C):
As a Level 2 ASP, if your property requires or has an overhead service connection to the electricity network, we can undertake all works including minor tree trimming and final commissioning. This covers new or existing connection works from 100amps to 400amps.
> Network Device Installation and Upgrade (Class 2D):
As a Level 2 ASP, we are qualified to install and upgrade network devices, such as Off-Peak/Controlled Load equipment, in addition to our authority to work for digital electricity meter providers, now under the power of choice legislation introduced 1 December 2017.
In addition, we undertake private works associated with level 2 connections including;
> Private pole installations, galvanised steel, composite and treated timber
> Consumer mains upgrades
> Switchboard installations up to 2500amps
> Tree trimming
> Civil works
LEVEL 3 ASP
ASP Level 3 works consist of designing distribution and transmission works on, or intended for connection to the networks operated by the electricity distributors of NSW.
Our Level 3 ASP design staff are highly experienced working on and designing the electrical infrastructure associated with producing certified contestable designs.
This enables us to provide an end to end solution for our customers and stakeholders, be it on a new subdivision through to pad or pole mount substations for commercial upgrades. Our project team will assist in the delivery of the contestable level 1 ASP works following design certification from the Network operator.
